Frozen Peeled Shrimp (Vannamei, Litopenaeus vannamei) is TaMainco's primary value-added shrimp export product, manufactured in our BRC Grade A and FDA Registered Surabaya processing facility. The product range covers all three primary peeled shrimp formats required by global foodservice and retail markets: PD (Peeled & Deveined), PUD (Peeled & Undeveined), and PDTO (Peeled, Deveined, Tail-On) — the premium format for restaurant presentation and retail consumer appeal.

Raw material is sourced from HACCP-certified aquaculture ponds in East Java and West Sumatra, where vannamei shrimp are raised under strict antibiotic-free protocols that meet EU maximum residue limit (MRL) requirements. The aquaculture operations are audited quarterly by TaMainco's quality team, ensuring consistent raw material quality and full traceability from pond to export carton.

Processing begins with live shrimp transported directly from harvest pond to our facility, where they are processed at 0–4°C through peeling, deveining, and sizing lines. The PDTO format — with the tail shell retained for visual appeal — is particularly popular with American restaurant chains and Middle Eastern buffet operations, where presentation is a key purchasing driver. IQF and block frozen options are both available: IQF is preferred for foodservice portioning flexibility, while block frozen is cost-effective for industrial buyers who process the shrimp further.

FDA Registered facility status (US FDA Facility Registration Number available on request) makes this product directly eligible for US foodservice import without additional facility audits.
